A recording studio based in South Auckland providing services for recording,
mastering, mix-down, duplication, replication and packaging. Professional quality

FACILITIES:
One control room with mixer, software and plugins and one isolation recording room,
ideal for vocals recordings and practice. Our 24-track studio has 16 available
channels for vocals and instruments featuring EQ dynamics, limiter, analogue mastering,
reverb chamber, DAT format to CD and a number of computer software packages to choose from for creating your own music. Keyboard, drums, guitars, bass, amps and microphones available if required. Kitchen, lounge area and toilet facilities
also provided.

COST:

The standard hourly rate for recording time is $60.00 plus gst ($67.50). We offer a fixed daily
rate of $400.00 plus gst ($450.00) which gives you 10 hours of recording time which gives you a saving of around $200.00.
Unlike other studio's, we do not charge a higher hourly rate for the mixdown and mastering, the
above hourly rates apply for the engineer to mix and master also.

Your sound engineer is Thomas Blakelock. Thomas was previously a member of the band White Sands and has
been creating his own music for the last 3 years. Thomas has an excellent ear for sound and is very approachable should
you have any queries regarding your recordings. Thomas is also a major shareholder to this business.

OPERATIONS MANAGER/BOOKINGS |
Chantelle Blakelock is our Operations Manager. She deals with all office duties including bookings and information
inquiries. She brings her Finance and Administration experience to our business and can help you with any inquiries.
Please speak with Chantelle if you wish to discuss a possible payment plan for your recording sessions.

BACKGROUND:
Blakelock Records is a family business that began in 2006 due to the dream and passion for music one father shared with his children.
This dream was made a reality when he, Tom Blakelock (Director) was given an opportunity
to purchase the equipment and start his own recording business.
Tom shares this dream with both his children and his grandchildren who are all dedicated
and passionate music lovers.
With over 15years of music experience, Import/Export, Customer Service, Retail and
Marketing, Finance and administration experience, Blakelock Records dedicate a
large portion of their time to schools and community service encouraging youth to follow their dreams and make every effort
to reach their goals. For those that plan to become musicians, this is a studio
that provides the means to start your music career and a place to feel relaxed and comfortable.
We offer a wide range of services within our recording studio and our record label
covering all music styles and genres; from Urban – Hip Hop and R&B, Reggae, Rock or Heavy Metal to Classical, Jazz,
Country, or Cultural and Pacific Island Music.
