Our Studio is here to serve the needs of all musicians of any genre. Our family owned business has grown
with the passion and love for music that encourages and motivates our strengths and objectives to everyday business
making the environment a place that is free from stress and creates a relaxing and fun experience.
We
believe everyone deserves to follow their dreams and will endevour to help you make your dreams reality. We have
a strong focus on community services and provide our services for schools, non-profit organisations and music institutes for
extremely discounted rates. We encourage all young musicians to enhance thier music talents and abilities
and promote this statement by donating school music talent quest vouchers to winners.

adaptable to unusual situations. We have friendly staff who are hear to help and offer advise if need be. We are here

Our History
With over 20 years of experience within the music industry, we understand music and want to share this with
our customers. What use is knowledge if it is not shared? This is why our motto is "To Know Music and Make It Known!"
In 2006, we decided to take this knowledge and passion to a new level and bought this studio which we use to enable
other music lovers to share and enjoy with us.
Aside from the musical background and experience, our staff are also experienced in the following fields: Customer
Service, Import/Export, Finance, Entertainment; and many other useful key aspects of running a business, so it is with no
doubt I can confidently say, you are in good hands.
Blakelock Records has recorded several difference types of music from Church Choirs, Rap/Hip Hop Group, Reggae, Classical
to Samoan and other cultural music, schools, daycares, handicap patients and many many more - we are able to relate to
our customers who are obviously all so very different, but with the utmost confidence and professionalism that I'm
sure you will feel very welcome here.
Of recent news, our studio was named on the Good Morning Breakfast show earlier
this month where they acknowledged donation of time and facilities to a South Auckland Daycare to Record an original song
the children wrote to the whales called "Save the Whales". This daycare was also in the Manukau Courier on Tuesday 18th
December 07 in relation to this venture, where again Blakelock Records were named as the supporting recording studio.
